Learn Abroad Spanish : Argentina, Tucuman

Classes are taught in Spanish by native Argentine professors. Students begin with a one-month intensive language and culture course. During the regular semester, students enroll in one or more special CC-CS courses and at least one regular UBP course with Argentine classmates. Students may also select a one-credit course in tango or horseback riding. The program combines intensive language instruction with liberal arts courses emphasizing the economic and political history of Argentina, as well as Argentina and Latin American literature, media studies, the arts and intellectual thought. The first four weeks of the semester will consist of intensive Spanish instruction. Students will then have the option of taking courses taught in English or courses taught in Spanish, plus a reinforcing Spanish class.

Tucuman is an ideal site for students with very little previous experience about spanish language. A side from the humanities courses offered; there is also a business course taught in English Students may take courses in a variety of courses and faculties, including business administration, history, international relations, Spanish, literature, social sciences, communications, and theater.
